While designing custom sword stand for a client I realized that most of the displays out there are designed solely for function with little regard for the art that it displays. A martial art sword is a weapon used in an art that demands grace and flow of energy and with that in mind, this is one of the designs I developed. It is handcrafted from black walnut with a gloss lacquer finish to protect as well as enhance the colors.
