After selecting several tile colors & patterns, the customer chose a warm, earth-tone color tile to complement the rich, deep brown of the walnut in this sofa table. As per the customer's request, the sofa table's top surface is expansive, so as to allow lots of food to be served and eaten while watching television.
There is both open and closed storage in the bottom of the sofa table. Sliding doors with milled, flat black finger pulls close off a portion of the bottom storage, while at the same time opening the other half. The walnut sofa table is finished with 2 coats of a hand-rubbed mix of oil/polyurethane. The 12" x 12" tiles can easily be replaced by the customer whenever necessary.
