I searched for months for an oversized (7") newel post emulating the design and workmanship of 100 years ago for our farmhouse. I found Bill Pinion's site and can only say the whole experience of working with Bill has been delightful from start to finish. Top notch craftsmanship, first class professionalism.
This piece is made of solid maple with a tiger maple top . it has full length 2 inch legs and utilizes sliding dovetails for the shelves and vertical dividers. This bookcase was designed to hold a full load of books of any size. Or to display your favorite cherished items.
