Wedding Memories Photo Sculptures
Your beautiful hand-made Wedding Memories Photo "Sculpture" starts with a photo of the bride and groom that you submit to me electronically or by mail. I make a 5x7" copy of it on high quality photographic paper, laminate the surface to protect it, then bond it to a 3/8" piece of acrylic. Using a laser, everything other than the wedding couple is cut away. The result is then bonded to a glossy black acrylic stand.
The art of wedding photo sculpturing goes back to the 1920's, and for almost 100 years, was a lost art. I'm working to restore this beautiful way to display "Wedding Memories" to the place it belongs.
No longer necessary to find suitable framing and wall space, Wedding Memories Photo "Sculptures" find a home on your shelf, table or desk, where they can be displayed for all to see. Though I call them Photo "Sculptures," they are just 3/8" deep. Many of my clients tell me they look like a sculpture, and give a dimensional appearance.
