These tables were made for a CM client in Miami Beach - The tops are 1" thick quarter sawn white oak and the bases are made from 3/4" solid (not hollow) square steel tubing.
The client chose to have the tops ebonized with a mild acetic acid solution and the bases blackened with a chemical process as well. The base is clear coated with a satin finish and the tops have multiple coats of water based matted polyurethane.
These tables look great in the client's home and she is thrilled!
