This chess set has been an evolution of ours over the years.. The robust pieces have a clean, simple style and are still easily recognizable. They are hand-turned from southern yellow pine, and the dark pieces have been stained a black-walnut shade. The predominant grain pattern lends an eye-catching zebra stripe effect.

The board features two drawers that stow away underneath for piece storage. Woodburned customization is also possible. As with most of our indoor wooden items, the set is treated with 100% natural hemp seed oil, in line with our strong commitment to environmentally friendly products.
