My thought as I was designing and making this was that in the classical periods of those two great "Meccas" of art, Greece and Rome, the Gods, Goddesses and human figures were shown in the physical condition at the prime of life, not as wizened old men and women as native Americans are far too often represented in carved/ sculpted art. So, my rendering is in the manner of ancient Greece and Rome, showing the subject in the prime of life. Again, my rebellion against the too frequent mainstream manner of portraying the Native Americans.
