The keepsake/jewelry box Michael made for my son’s wedding was beautiful. Michael was great to work with. The box exceeded my expectations and I would definitely work with him again. My son loved it and will treasure it forever.
This jewelry box was designed for a client, it is now a product I sell at Six Board Box. The box is made from a wide board so I can maintain the cohesive flow of grain and figure. The box is made from Tiger Maple with a Maple escutcheon (finished natural). The jewelry box is made with two sets of wooden dividers, on inside, with a necklace storage area and wood tray. This box is real simple for design and is inspired from a box I remember as a kid. The client uses this box on her dresser. It contains her more precious jewelry. 14"w x 10"d x 7.5" t

I commissioned Micheal to make a large, locking "treasure chest" for my husband for Christmas and I could not be more delighted with the results. The box was masterfully executed with exacting detail, beautifully finished and packaged well so that it was received in pristine condition. My husband and I frequent fine craft fairs and we've been looking for a woodworker who was willing and able to do a locking box for years; they're tricky because everything must align perfectly, and a lot of woodworkers just don't want to hassle with the hardware. Micheal was happy to do it, and it says a lot about his skill level.
