Jewelry Box With Celtic Design
This beautiful Celtic design jewelry box is made to order. Made from Leopardwood, Eastern Walnut. Western Maple and Claro Walnut.
The Kelpie Design on the top is inspired by a beautiful gravestone in Scotland. The side swirls and keltic knots are long standing keltic design elements. Together with my fluid hand carved legs, the active grain of the leopard wood and the Kelpie water horses this box comes to life with movement and inspiration. Plenty of storage in the drawer, the center cavity and upper tray of this sweet jewelry box. The mirror in the lid helps for easy dressing too!
Expect some time in making this box (4-8 weeks depending on my work load). It is very complicated inlay and each leg and pull are hand carved. This is a box not to be rushed and is worth the wait.
The box itself measures about 12" long, 6 1/2" deep and 7" tall.
Cavities lined with velvet.
